ARBA/ATMA/DFUSA Champion Loyal Rak-Pa Ni A Soechavati

Rak-Pa

CH Shay-Ri Gentle Ben v.d. Zegse Heide  x  Dikyi Ni A Soechavati

Rak-Pa distinguished himself with more than a dozen Best in Show Puppy Awards. He is the offspring of Ch. Shay-Ri Gentle Ben v.d. Zegse Heide and Dikyi Ni A Soechavati and is the sire of Ch. Himalaya's Dred-Mo, grandsire of Ch. Himalaya's Lokeshvara and great grandsire of Ch. Himalaya's Taj Mahal. Rak-Pa was our first Dutch import and we thank the Reusens of Soechavati Tibetan Mastiffs for this glorious boy.

Frankie

Iwan  x  CH Azziz Ni A Soechavati

It's not often that one dog combines such a positive impact on a breeding program as well as the show ring but Frankie is that unforgettable girl. She is the mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to numerous champions. She shone in the show ring and is the first dog who gave us a Best in Show win. Our stunning Frankie continues to be a star as a veteran dog as we celebrated her 13th birthday in 2004.

ATMA/ARBA/DFUSA Champion Shay-Ri Gentle Ben v.d. Zegse Heide

Ben

Djouley De La Tour Chandos  x  Nina v.d. Zegse Heide

The first time I saw this picture of Ben, I knew that I would have to meet him. His owner Karen Pickel was gracious enough to let Ben become a part of my life and he changed everything. Just a gorgeous dog who was the proper protector and grandest playmate. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren continue on with his tradition of beauty, strength and soundness.

Himalaya's Emir Pasha

Pasha

CH Shay-Ri Gentle Ben v.d. Zegse Heide  x  CH Kona Ni A Soechavati

Every now and then a breeder is able to produce a dog that embodies all of the best characteristics of the breed. Pasha is such a special dog. Not only did he win Best of Breed at the National Specialty when he was little more than a puppy, he went on to be Best of Breed at the World Dog Show in Mexico City. Pasha has contributed to our breeding program and is now a great grandsire. Just an amazing boy who stole my heart as a puppy. Brave and fearless but still able to entertain his friends with his penchant for toys and games. He is truly one of a kind.

ATMA/ARBA/DFUSA/CKC Champion Himalaya's Isis

Rosie

Madd Maxx Ni A Soechavati x CH Drakyi's Perfect Ten of Ho-Shen

Our darling "Rosie" is a multi-champion in our hearts as well as the show ring. She is in retirement now, but produced some of our most beautiful Himalaya puppies when she was being bred. Her dark tan coloring and her amazing speed on her wild runs through the meadow always draw attention. Her children are Champions in many countries and she is truly a regal lady.

WORLD CHAMPION/FIN/DFUSA/ATMA/CKC Champion
Vashti Himalaya Ni A Soechavati

Vashti

CH Andor v. Altnaharra  x  CH Soechavati Esthri v. Gangjong

This dramatic girl was a gift from my dear friends at Soechavati Tibetan Mastiffs in The Netherlands. She was a clown and a charmer and stole hearts everywhere. Her children have gone on to auspicious show careers and each has her essential sweetness. Vashti was Best of Breed at the World Dog Show in Helsinki when she was scarcely old enough to be shown with the adults. Even more remarkable is that her brother was Best Junior Puppy and her half brother was Best of Opposite Sex. I give all the credit to the Reusens of Soechavati for producing such consistent and excellent TM's over the years and for their willingness to share their best with other breeders.

ATMA/ARBA Champion Himalaya's Lokeshvara

Norbu

CH Himalaya's Dred-Mo  x  CH Vashti Himalaya Ni A Soechavati

Norbu is a Tibetan word for a "wish fullfilling jewel". This was an easy choice as a call name for our darling boy. Not only is he a handsome and sound male, but his children are just as great. He is the OFA excellent great-grandson of Shay-Ri Gentle Ben v.d. Zegse Heide. With a gentle and tolerant nature, he is still ready to guard us when the moment arrives.
